At NORTHWEST PEDIATRIC THERAPY we address issues such as Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Spina Bifida, Traumatic Brain Injury, Torticollis, Asperger's Syndrome, Sensory Integrative Disorders and other developmental, genetic and orthopedic conditions. NORTHWEST PEDIATRIC THERAPY
is located in southeast McHenry County in the Cary/Crystal Lake area. Approximately 15 minutes from downtown Barrington, Lake Zurich and McHenry. Only 5 minutes from Algonquin/Lake in the Hills area.

 

When to ask for help :
Children with any of the following may need assessment to determine if treatment is appropriate:

  • Frequent changes in mood
  • Stiff arms and or legs with movements
  • Frequently falls, appears clumsy
  • Floppy trunk and or arms and legs
  • Difficulty feeding, picky eater
  • Only tolerates comfortable clothes
  • Unable to adjust to changes, demands routine
  • Poor safety awareness
  • Avoids eye contact
  • Speech is not understood by others
  • Over reacts to movement, touch, taste and or sound
  • Unable to demonstrate advancement with milestones
  • Appears unmotivated
  • Difficulty with social skills
  • Overactive
